Two nights of getting to bed "on time." I actually think I even got to sleep "on time." And by "on time" I obviously mean getting to bed and to sleep within the 7 to 8 hour window prior to my alarm going off in the morning. However, this morning I found myself waking up spontaneously at about 5:30 AM - one hour before my expected waking time. And then, as usual, my mind takes off and I start to consciously process all of the stressors in my life. Which is probably a good time to employ some other principle-based techniques like meditation and prayer, maybe an early morning walk for exercise, or journalling (kinda like I'm doing now).
We'll see how the rest of the day goes with 6.5 hours of sleep. I guess that's way better than getting to bed at midnight or 1:00 and waking up at 5:30, so I should be pleased. I'll let you know how things turn out later on tonight before I turn in.
